No! I was raised catholic (but am recoverd)I just feel it would be wrong to take communion knowing what it means knowing that it is not my belief. However I miss the taste of the wafer
-
No. I am rather picky about where I will take communion even as a Christian who does believe.
-
No I don't think I would.

No. I feel like that would be a mockery of the beliefs of other people. A friend of mine put it to me like this: "If you take communion and don't believe, it's just a bite of wafer and a sip of wine." It trivializes something that is sacred to a group of people and I think it's disrespectful.

I only take communion at my church or churches I have attended or know the leadership. I was caught in one church about to take communion when the pastor said something in the "this is my body" speech that was clearly not Biblical. I try not to get caught off guard. Also, I was a non-teaching coach for a Catholic school. They held a Mass before attending state championships. When Father John called everyone up for Mass I stood up and one of my students put his hand on my shoulder and pushed me back down saying, "You're not Catholic you can't take communion." That was a shocker.
