There is a possibility of this. But efforts are being made both at state and federal level to provide a paper trail, which is the only reliable fail-safe against hacking.

I still think the prez will just declare all his opponents terrorists and have them locked up. But then again, given the American's lack of enthusiasm at voting time (well that's what I've been told, anyway) and their division in who to vote for, maybe some fundamentalist muslims will get voted in and use that idea instead. Any one else got anything to add?
