  • I thinnk its looking or targeting at young adults who have some intellect on pop culture, history, and some other side subjects.
  • I have never seen a specific marketing statement but I would guess right around our age. Usually if I don't 'get' a joke my hubby will, we've actually had to look things up before. However, that's the case with pretty much everything we watch in this genre. Fun show, isn't it? :)
  • All the teens I know like it and "get it". My son and nephew have all of them. I don't really watch it.
  • I think the obscure movie references need you to be 30-55 to actually understand most of the humor.
  • To me it appears to target the young adult through early middle age demographics; i.e. those who can relate best to the brand of humor this show presents. I thought last night's episode was particularly funny. The show does one thing hardly any other show does is when it goes off on tangents where someone says something and for a moment there is a visualization of what they just said. I get all the jokes too and they are quite hilarious.
  • I think it's mostly geared towards young men, but... I don't know. it's kind of like how Sesame Street had references to The Beatles and things that kids wouldn't get, just so that there was a little something for everyone? I think of Family Guy as sort of like that. If you're in your 40s and there's nothing better on, you sit through several of Family Guy's fart jokes and are rewarded for your patience with a Moby Grape joke! :D
  • I'm 26 and I get most if not all of the jokes. I will say that most of my pop culture references align with my husband's who is 33. It also helps to be from New England.
  • I personally think that they are trying to target ALL age groups... Even if they don't get the jokes...
