Apparently guns don't kill, people do. Although I doubt that he could have killed so many people if he wasn't armed with a gun. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims and also of the killer.

Driven to the pits by this crazy world. They have no one to talk to, that's why they vent their ire through the barrel of the gun.

That's pretty disgusting especially when these are the people we're supposed to trust the most in our society. I believe that all cops should be subjected to psychological evaluations on a periodic basis to determine whether they are fit to perform the duties that they have sworn to do.
