  • I'm not much one at all for Western Religion, so I'd have to choose Eastern Philosphy.
  • Niether.... I prefer my own, which is niether Western Religion, nor Eastern Religious Philosophy.
  • Neither, world-wide approach to philosophy, find all religions interesting even if I don't agree with any of them :)
  • Neither. I prefer Western Philosophy. =)
  • I like the eastern approach of self development better. I like aspects of Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Yoga philosophy.
  • I prefer God reaching out to humanity in Judaism and Christianity to humanity looking for God or the meaning of life. With love in Christ.
  • Without a doubt, Western religion.
  • Since I was raised in a family who believed in Eastern philosophy, I'd say Eastern philosophy. Though I do find Western religion interesting too.
  • I prefer eastern philosophy not just because I am born & brought up in Hindu family. I love it just because it has those charachterstic of love, humanity, social reponsilbility which I feel lesser in western philosophy. western philosophy is more or less about individualism which is not mine cup of tea. I love my family, my society so its just impossible for me to prefer western philosophy.
  • I dislike religions in general because they often have dogmas and rituals that have little or no purpose, and are are often more destructive then constructive. Philosophy, both Eastern and Western, generally promotes an open mind. In this way I am more a philosopher more so than a religious man even though some of the philosophies I have studied (and follow to a degree) have been turned into "religions."
  • They're about the same BS, only Eastern philosophers don't shove anything down your throat, don't want donations from you and don't knock at your door at dinner time
