What are the USB devices?
-
I tried to add a comment to Tinkerbell's answer, but AB just said, "addding comment..." and my comment wasn't posted, so I'm adding my comment to Tinkerbell's answer as an answer to my question: A Saitek backlit keyboard (so I can use my PC in the middle of the night in the dark), a Logitech trackball, a Cisco Systems wirelesss G adapter, a Lexmark inkjet printer, a Logitech game controller (looks like a Playstation controller), a USB digital camera, an external 120 GB hard drive, a 4.0 GB "thumb drive," and an external 3.5" floppy disk drive. [Update: So anyway, I did what Tinkerbell suggested and plugged each device in at a time. Guess what? The faulty device wasn't one of the USB devices per-se, but my external USB splitter. I bought a new USB splitter (an externally powered one) and my PC boots again with everything plugged in :-) Thanks for the help, everyone! end-update]
