It's all very confusing when the message is being interrupted by shiny objects to lure new inductee's.

The same things that attract people to Christianity and Islam. 1.) Raised in the faith by their parents. 2.) Convinced to convert by a loved one or spouse. 3.) Endure a traumatic event in their lives, and they turn to them for simple answers for complex questions.
