  • Yes, they can be in contempt of court and the judge, once notified, will take visitation rights, from the guilty party. Happens all the time. a violation of a court order is serious business. If this is occurring, notify your attorney and let him petition the court in your behalf.
  • Legally you are correct, however, at this point here are your options, drive all the way, keep all reciepts for gas, submit to court, for abatment of support, as to not interrupt visitation, keeping children out of it. Argue with ex as to 60 40 meeting place, if she will not go 50 50 to meet. Try hard to come to an aggeement with her, or a court order mediator, anything brought to a Judge, will be time consuming, cost more than the GAS, and LOST time with the children, you can never get back. Good Luck, don't let her win. You do not have to play games with her, tell her your intentions, it's over stop fighting.
