I'm a very jealous person, but this actually doesn't make me jealous... it just makes me self conscious of myself and sometimes makes me feel "inadequate" but it goes away :)

Not at all. To be honest, the day we stop looking and appreciating is the day we might as well pack it in and die. Looking is not cheating. If you are jealous of that, it is more about your own insecurity. If the look involves prolonged eye contact, that's different...that's flirting. Both my husband and I feel free to say "What a gorgeous girl!" or "He is such a hansome guy". What's wrong with that?

No I would encourge this behaviour. There is nothing wrong with looking at the menu as long as you do not order. If you don't open the shades of life and let some light in things become dull and boring. great question by the way.

I used to get very jealous of my old (first) boyfriend who would go out of his way to look at (rubberneck) and talk to, and about, other girls in front of me. It humiliated me. I was crazy about him and couldn't figure out what to do to make it stop. I understand it is normal to notice beauty. But that is completely different than making a fool out of yourself. It seems almost an attack on the person you are with. My husband can look and I do not get jealous. He does not try to hurt me by looking.

It depends on whether its an innocent glance or a stare. I have went out with guys who would actually forget what we were talking about. That's ridiculous.

My boyfriend does it all the time. Usually he says something to include me though like, "You think that girl's a model?" I mean, maybe I'd get jealous if I didn't do it all the time as well. I love sexy men, but that doesn't mean I'd rather be with them than my boyfriend. He knows that so he doesn't mind and visa versa. I like to think of it as going to an art gallery with your significant other and checking out the prettiest pieces ;)

Not anymore. I was extremely jealous in one relationship I was in. However, I turned out to be right about the guy anyway. He's had plenty of girlfriends since me. Whatever. It helped me get over him. I trust the guy I am with now, so I don't need to be jealous. I love him and he loves me, too. :)
