Yes, but the deadpan delivery of the actors has millions convinced that it's a real news channel. I find that if you close your eyes and just listen to the material, the ridiculousness comes shining through. And I'm not the only fan: "I laughed, I cried, I nearly died. My belly hasn't shook this hard since 1964's 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians'. In fact, I'm guffawing uncontrollably as I strain to type this review. Oh dear.
