Not at all. You are using your gift of cooking, with their gift of fresh carrots, to repay a kind gesture. It is very much like my mum used to do when we were children. The lady next door had a mulberry tree. She couldn't cook mulberry pies, though. So we kids picked the mulberries, and mum cooked up a storm, sending back a couple of pies to the lady. Everyone was happy.
