Does anyone know if they or some world leader is a direct descendant of the biblical King David?

See "Are there any Jews out there that know which of the 12 Israelite tribe(s) they have descended from?" which asked a similar question, and the answer to it. The answer is no, since all Jewish records were lost at the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70. Jews today do not know even which of the 12 tribes they are descended from (and many of the Jews in the last few centuries have married non-Jews, so not even any pure Jews from any tribe for that matter), much less anything more precise, such as descendants of Aaron or King David.
