after every shower...once I saw an image of a towel covered in dead skin and oils from your body and its not a pretty sight at all and this was when I was in primary school over 40years ago and to this day I get a fresh towel for every shower

As a man I answer that when they get dirty which is indefinitely. At least twice a month.

Living in a very humid climate, it's necessary for me to change them every other day or every third day at the latest, which I sometimes do when I'm alone. Towels don't dry here quickly. Sometimes we have days of rain (I live in a rainforest), and then they hardly dry at all.

Living in a humid climate, I have to change them every 2 or 3 days. I actually live in a rainforest and when we get days of rain, they hardly dry at all. Thank god for the dryer!

Every time I use them. that means at least once daily sometimes twice. hand towels once daily Shower towels every shower. I will not use a towel twice they have dead skin on them

I like my bath towels to always be fresh and clean, but change my hand towels, etc about once a week, or if they get dreadfully dirty - whichever comes first.

I change hand towels everyday and i have a pile of bath towels in the bathroom and when anyone has a shower they are used once and then put in the wash.

The ones in my bathroom would be after each shower. Depending on how sweaty I get through out the day tells me how soon to change this one I have around my neck....Yes for over 35 plus years I've wore one around my neck. It started when I worked around sawmills & hayfields. They keep my dry & the dust & hay seeds from dropping in places where the sun don't shine....LOL
