Hey Hey. Welcome to the world. Same thing has happened in the UK too. Except now the government is considering making it an offence to smoke cigarettes whilst driving your own car. In theory, you could have 6 penatly points on your licence for such an offence as the govt clain that smoking at the wheel is driving without due care and attention. I would like to think that smoking should be allowed in private clubs, but I dont think it will. I think that smokers are been ousted and are deemed social outcasts and we are easy targets. Let the police go catch some real criminals.

No and yes. Get used to it! Us none smokers will no longer need to put up with other peoples smoke wherever we go! Norway has it The UK has it California has it NYC (maybe the whole state?) has it And now Tennessee has it!

I personally think that they have gone overboard on the smoking issue. I guess it's OK to go to a restaurant or bar, drink yourself silly, get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone. Why not tax the alcohol? Oh, duh.... all the politicians drink. How silly of me. Also, every 9 out of 10 cars that I pass on the road have a cell phone glued to their ear. So how safe is that? I am getting sick and tired of seeing the commercials about second hand smoke on TV. Cigarettes are not the only thing in the world that are hazardous to your health. Give it a break people! I don't think the government has any right to tell a business what they can and cannot do. They're getting into a dictatorship.
