I used to. Then my husband of 20 years, the man who supposedly knew me better than anyone else on earth, began to list all of my character flaws and personality traits. Sadly, the only thing he got right was that I didn't respond well to threats. He didn't have a clue who I was. If he didn't, who else was qualified to make a judgement of who I was? The marriage ended soon after that and I stopped caring about what others think of me because they don't know me. They are only guessing. That is all any of us do when we make a judgement of others. We guess, and most often we do it without anything approaching adequate information. All that matters is what I think of myself. Unfortunately, I can be pretty critical of myself.

Yes, I would.. because we don't seem to agree...
-
No. I'd rather be oblivious to any negative thoughts people have about me than know anything good about me. I praise my own good qualities.

Great question. Sometimes I do, if I can pick who then I would want to know why a good friend feels that I deserve their friendship, but overall, probably not since it would make me very self conscious.

No, I wouldn't. It would take away all the magic. I prefer not to worry what others think of me..that would be an invasion of their privacy and I would not want my privacy invaded in that way either. I think the way things are works..at least for me. "ignorance is bliss" "no news is good news" "why fix what ain't broke?" :)
