I rather enjoy it. There seems to be a perfect balance between social and educational questions. At least, in my opinion. And to answer your other questions, Yes, I do like red hair. and Curious George would win with a TKO in the second round.

I think there are still a variety of questions for everyone. There are interesting fact seeking type questions and silly questions and mind thumping ones, too. But the majority of folks here dont' really seem to want to answer real thought provoking questions, or more controversial ones. If they do answer then, they just want to get in their digs and then drop it, just like they don't have the time, be funny or sarcastic and then their finished with that subject. I've at times tried posting some questions for discussion but they never get anywhere. Oh, well. I guess you don't get points for comment threads. And silly questions are quicker to answer.

There are certainly a lot more fluff questions than previously. A lot of them can be fun but not exactly mind stretching or adding much to what was originally a knowledge database. Questions that need research or any amount of thought do not seem to get bothered with very much.

Yeah answerbag is REALLY getting a lot of crappy questions and answers. I used to like it a lot more a long time ago and that's why I don't visit much anymore. The moderators also made it worse with the changes they made to the website over the years. That's just my opinion.
