  • i choose one who is like me or i have a good understanding withthem. i feel open with them and they will guid me right and listen to me
  • i chose don kelly as my mentor....well we chose each other....he has always tried his best to help me....every one likes him...and he is successful....I picked him because he is what i want to be one day......maybe even better....
  • I have had a few "mentors" in my life. I didn't think of them as mentors at the time, but looking back years later, they were. Two of them were teachers in high school. One a science teacher that I'd spend time with after school in the lab experimenting with various chemicals. The other was a Lit and Photography teacher. About 20ish years after graduating, I happened to be in town, and drove to the old school, and saw him. I shook his hand and thanked him for passing on a lot of great philosophy about life. It was really cool seeing him again.
  • No. can i have one? or make it two, one to spare.
  • No one specific person...I've been fortunate to have had many along the way in life..I guess to be honest I would say everyone I meet is a potential "mentor" to one degree or another! :)
  • My mentor, is the Holy Spirit.
  • I have had many, but none currently. I've mentored a few people, and it is the coolest thing to have them track you down years later just to say thank you.
  • Choose a mentor for a specific area of your life (finances, career, being a better spouse, parent, etc.). One person may do a few things right, but interview and choose someone who is very good at something you need to get better at. you need to meet with your mentor on a regular basis (monthly, bi-weekly, whatever) and have specific questions, goals or issues to discuss. There should be accountability and measurable successes.
  • I have a few people I consider to have been influential in my life but I don't have a mentor...yet
  • I would love to have a mentor. If so I may not have made some of the mistakes I've made in my life. Sigh.
