Good question, I only make up words if I hear the song wrong or can't make the words out, sometimes mine are better...lol

Not too much - I usually just mumble and humm along until I get to a point where I know two or three words in a row :) Then I say those, and go back to humm mumbling

when i find a song I like I find the lyrics so I can learn them easier so never put my own words in there while singing along ---------Well if i had a bit too much to drink is no telling what will fly out my mouth lol.

Yes..I do that a lot. I like changing the words to make the song funny...like Weird Al Yankovitch (sp?).

Often..but I also make up my own melodies and serenade my honey..lousy voice, good with words, comes from the heart..he seems to love it! :)

Not that often only when its a new song or something but after i learn the lyrics i don't make up words.

Lyrics can be hard to make out, so quite a bit. Sometimes when I see the actual words written down, I like mine better and stick with them.
