It is a very highly praised book..but it just wasn't something that I was interested in. So I only read a few chapters of it.

Hitchhiking through the Galaxy...the BBC show was interesting...The movie was good, haven't read the book...But I would recommend it...

It is about Life... the Universe... Everything! You simply MUST read it! You'll DIE laughing. And the book COMPLETELY blows the movie away. Don't forget the sequels, too: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe Live, The Universe and Everything So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish Mostly Harmless (and the short story) Young Zaphod Plays it Safe. You can get them all in an Omnibus edition fairly inexpensively.

It's a great movie. I would go ahead and rent it, it will be worth your time. It's a intergalactic comedy, if you like that sort of thing. Your money will be well spent.

it was a british radio show ,tv show and book, in us a movie. all contradict each other. each changing the story. its very funny good read

It's about the end of the world and all the fun stuff that happens after that. I highly recommend it. I've seen the movie and read all five books of the trilogy. Douglas Adams was a wonderful author. His comedic stylings are always spot on.
