  • If I was mute I would carry a bat, tampons and a sign that says "you better not make me mad"
  • I think I would die... Literally die. I think it would be awful and I think men would take advantage of it by verbally abusing women because we couldn't fight back with words. I also think women would be a lot more physically violent because I know from working with children with Autism, that sometimes when they couldn't articulate themselves they would act out physically because they were so frustrated.
  • i am sure even that would not be an end to my cahtter--i would explore the entire earth and find another means to continue my chatter not to say i would make the most of notepads and sign language and "gibberish" noises...lol:)
  • I think that we'd find other ways of communicating and getting out points across....my life wouldn't change much. We'd adapt and let our hands do the talking.
  • Two words: sign language :-)
  • there would be hands moving everywhere (sign language)! And since we would be so busy using our hands to talk, we wouldn't have the time to cook, clean, and do the laundry for our men. ;-)
  • I think there would be quite a bit of depression, and a huge loss of income for women who rely on their voices for a living. I think recordings of women's voices would become quite valuable. I think we would see valiant behavior in men as they seek ways to comfort their voiceless mothers, daughters, wives, girlfriends, friends, co-workers, ect. I think the period of mouning will be really hard, but the human spirit will prevail and perhaps we will all have more respect and compassion for each other. In a few generations there will only be a distant memory of the time when women had voices or perhaps they find a way to restore women's voices.
