  • Genocide tallies: Rwanda: 1994 - 800,000 Deaths Stalin's Forced Famine: 1932-1933 - 7,000,000 Deaths Pol Pot in Cambodia: 1975-1979 - 2,000,000 Deaths Nazi Holocaust: 1938-1945 - 6,000,000 Deaths Source: http://www.historyplace.com/worldhistory/genocide/index.html Darfur 200,000-400,000 dead Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darfur_conflict All comments of a revisionary nature are accepted so I will be able to amend the totals to reflect a more accurate figure. Revised Russian total: " Taking into account all the democide under the Czar, possibly near 900,000 to almost 1,500,000 Russians, subjects of the Russian empire, and foreigners were killed; perhaps around 1,000,000" Source: http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/SOD.CHAP12.HTM "By far, the consensus figure for those that Joseph Stalin murdered when he ruled the Soviet Union is 20,000,000. You probably have come across this many times. Just to see how numerous this total is, look up “Stalin” and “20 million” in Google, and you will get 38,800 links. Not all settle just on the 20,000,000. Some links will make this the upper and some the lower limit in a range. Yet, virtually no one who uses this estimate has gone to the source, for if they did and knew something about Soviet history, they would realize that the 20,000,000 is a gross under estimate of what is likely the true human toll." Source: http://freedomspeace.blogspot.com/2005/04/how-many-did-stalin-really-murder.html "By one conservative estimate there were 7,500 Russian military, 4,000 Chechen combatant, and more than 35,000 civilian deaths.[2] Other estimates put the number of casualties between 80,000 to 100,000 killed." Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Chechen_War It's a pretty sticky situation with Russia so I'll guesstimate that approximately 21,600,000 people and probably more were victims of genocide by Russia.
