  • The neighbor's dog bit me in the face when I was 3 going on 4. Or could be the brick the neighbors daughter hit me on the head with. Both required about 5 or 6 stitches. For the bite in the mouth, for the brick, on the head. I still have a bald spot 47 years later
  • My brother pushed me off the jungle gym, I hit my head on a rock and was out cold. When I came to I thought I was blind! They had shaved my head to put stitches in (23). The gauze covered my eyes!
  • I had a pencil jabbed in my foot when I was 6 or so. It was super stubborn so I had to go to the emergency room. I don't remember much about it but I did get stitches and I had to wrap my foot and ankle up in gauze for a few weeks, I think
  • I've had a few... I broke my collarbone when me and my brother were jumping on the bed and he pushed me out of his way (I was 4).. .sprained my ankle trying to fly off the swing set (I was 4 or 5)..Chipped a tooth at the beach when I was swimming and some kid through a rock into the water (around 6 or 7)..
  • I cant remember what came first but there were a couple. one time i broke my hand because the wagon that my mom was pulling me, my brother and sister in tipped over and smashed my hand. another time on one of those slip n slides, i split my lip because my brother and i went in opposite directions, collided, and his tooth dug into my lip and ripped it open...those were both really bad injuries.
  • My birth was pretty horrendous but it was all uphill after that :)
  • You know the roundabouts that they have in kid's playgrounds. When I was about 9 or 10 myself and a group of friends were playing a game where we would spin the roundabout up to pretty terrifying speeds, then there would be a competition to see who could collect the most wood chips from around the roundabout before it stopped spinning. I reached out, and my right arm dug into the soft earth underneath the wood chip, flipping me off the roundabout in such a fashion that my head was thrown under it - connecting with the axel/hub thingy. Was taken, following about 10 mins unconsciousness, to A&E. Luckily (i suppose), I only suffered a minor skull fracture, cerbral contusion, and cuts (requiring 14 stitches and glue)
