  • no, I don't think violence ever solves anything.
  • No, unless you're talking about a fight in school where you must defend yourself, but as a mother I don't believe in hitting
  • Nobody should be hitting anyone at any age for any reason. That includes babies, but naturally there should be no punishment for them. A simple, calm "no no" should work.
  • I hate to bust the "acceptable " norm here, but I firmly believe that if someone thinks they can get by with hitting someone else, then they learn it is a normal tool in their social interactions. Once you fail to respond to getting hit, you guarantee your own place in the pecking order as the one who gets pecked. I not only always hit back, but I always hit back with sufficient force as to leave no enemy alive to harbor feelings of revenge. That's just my personal policy, I have martial arts skills and people who know me, do not attack me. Those who do attack me do the rest of the world a favor by serving as an example of what happens when you attack someone who can eliminate them with their bare hands. Hitting is not funny. Don't do it.
  • If someone hits you, be the better person and walk away...right to a bigger person and have them him them.
  • depends ...if its little kids then NO ... but if your old enough to know better and your a bully then by all means ... the only way a bully learns is to out bully them to teach them a lesson ...
