MY 2001 Jeep Cherokee will not start. The battery and the starter are doing their jobs, but it will not turn over. After a few tries in the odometer section the reading "no bus" comes on. The engine light also comes on. Is this a blo

    engine switch?

    check fuel pressure.

    have you messed with the spark plugs? incorrect gap will cause i "no start" situation.

    does it have a Mass Airflow sensor? if thats faulty, it will not allow the engine to start.

    and how do you know the battery and starter are doing there jobs? tell me your testing procedures.

    I have the same problem on my limited 2001. They say it is not the starter or the battery since they have already been replaced. Alternator is also good. I was suggested to try the engine switch.
