  • which transformer is it??is it optimus prime or bumblebee..?
  • I would call the electric company.
  • It will depend on a few things: Is there pole and transformer owned by your local municipality or by the power company? Are you in a private subdivision which pays a special company to take care of such issues (as is required in some states for planned unit developments) or are you in an area that is only governed by local and state laws? Was the pole & transformer there when you bought the house or erected after? Can you research and find any proof that this poses a danger to your family? Has anyone in your household been experiencing health problems that could be related to this? Get as much information together as you can, then contact both the power company and your local, county or state utilities board or planning commission. In order for the pole to be moved, they will have to find a place to move it to that won't knock power out to hundreds or thousands of your neighbors. Realize, too, that there will be a cost associated with this. Unless you can prove the pole and transformer is a hazard, you may end up having to pay for it yourself. Also, DO NOT mention that the pole is "unsightly" UNLESS it was installed AFTER you bought the property. Then you can claim it devalues your property. But if it was there and it was ugly before you purchased, then that is your own issue to deal with. Work the health angle. Best of luck to you! :o)
  • Rest assured. They have been trying to find bad effects on peoples' health for decades and haven't yet. You need electricity, it has to be transformed, and somebody's back yard has to hold the utility pole. If you really hate it, you'll have to move.
  • I would like to know who owns the utility pole on my prorerty because I would like to get paid for the space that it occupies.
