I call my Grandmother Granny. That's the only grandparent I got left.

I grew up in a blended family, so I had more grandparents than most. I called one set Grandmother and Grandpa, one set Nooni and Boompa (though I didn't make those up), another grandmother Grandmommy, and the last grandmother Grandma.

My grandfathers died when I was a pre-schooler. I wouldn't remember anything about them. One grandmother died before I was born, the other was called grandma by all of her 8 grandchildren.

I used to call her Granny ...she was the only grand parent I knew. My granddaughter calls me GranTerri:)....she named me that when she was 2.

I call my grandparents Nanny and Papa. My kids call my mom Mamie, and my husband's parents Grandmama and Papa. My mother-in-law says Grandmama doesn't sound as old as grandma...LOL

I used to call my grand parents mama and granddad. Get this, I call my mom by her first name and have been since I was old enough to have common sense.

I have two grandmothers. One i call Nanny and the other i call Memere.

I call my grandma Bimbo.. and its not bimbo like a dummy... its in spanish. and my grandpa I just call grandpa in spanish.

For my dad's side, Grandma/Grandpa For my mom's side, Vovó (grandma)/Vovô (Grandpa) It's Portuguese...in case you were wondering.

They're just grandma and grandpa. But when my great-grandma's husband was alive (a step-relative to the descendents of my great-grandma, meaning she married him after having her children, who became my grandmother and great-aunt) we called him 'Pop' or 'Poppy'. Sorry for that long drawn out explaination :P And on my mother's side, we call my great grandma 'Gram'.

Mum-mum and Pop-Pop my niece has two grandmas name Carol so one is Grammy and the other is Grandma (my mom is grandma) her grandpa on her moms side is Pa and grandpa on her dad's side is Grandpa Ron.

Grammy and PapPap. They were from the Appalachian mountains. It is a family tradition that is now being used for my parents by my children.
