This is unabashedly evil. If you don't like it when the bad guys get theirs, don't read any further. First off, my family doesn't celebrate Halloween, but of course many people do so we are of course affected by it. Anyways, every year, a family member of mine enjoys putting pumkins on the front porch to celebrate the fall season. Inevitably, every Halloween, some kids would smash the pumpkins in the street. Finally my family member became fed up, and rubbed the pumkins down with habeñero pepper oil. In accordance with their tradition, the neighborhood troublemakers duly snatched and smashed our pumpkins. The next day in the newpaper was a small clip about the "Pumpkins from Hell" where it stated that some local kids were reported to have some problems with irritation in their eyes and mouths after smashing some pumpkins. They were all fine, but I suspect that a valuable lesson was learned. I am happy to report that we have never had another of our pumpkins smashed.

Last year I dressed up as a really ugly witch. Not ugly enough to scare off the little kiddies, though. But a neighbor commented: "Oh, you changed your hair."

When a little kid answered the door and when he saw our costumes he freaked and ran away screaming. :)

We put refrigerator box next to the front door on the landing. In the front we cut out a hole for a mask, and two holes for the arms.I put gloves on and hung my arms down. The people would look at the mask, then I would try to get them by moving my arms, and they would be suprized at first then laugh. Also I buried a small piece of wood that looked like a edge of a coffin in the front garden.Inside was a fake arm.To each finger I tied threads that lead to a small opening in the front window. As people would come to the door I could move the fingers by pulling the threads.this got allot of attention.
