One time I got sucked up in the propeller while swimming. Yah it left lots of scars.I mean I was really scared up bad.

When I first got to the Search and rescue station I was assigned to, our cheif brought us out into the inlet and very nearly flipped the boat for "Training" It was alot of fun and he was crazier than a shit house rat! any fears of sailing I kind of lost that day. I'm glad for the expierience. The slogan for the Coast Guard is "You have to go out, But You don't have to come back".

I have been on many boats and I am definitely a little scared of them. A few years ago I was out on a boat in Florida and all of a sudden the engine died and then it started to rain/thunder/lightening and I totally freaked out. So I am definitely somewhat afraid of boats.
