Is it possible to do a Skate-Board wheelie? I mean, is it possible to move forward, for a distance, on a Skate-Board, while standing on it, balancing it on its rear two wheels?

Yep. It's called a "Manual." You can also balance it on it's two front wheels, which is called a "Frontside Manual."

Nah, frontside and backside refere to spins. frontside 180 for e.g. means that your front shoulder turns towards your back and therefore you spin because of the direction the shoulders are going. backside means your front shoulder is going towards your chest. You should always remember that wherever your shoulders go, your body will follow and therefore if you want to get a good 180 or spin trick, wind your shoulders up before you ollie. when you ollie throw your shoulders in the direction you are spinning toward and twist your body. god this answer is long haha!

its all dependant on how well you can skateboard... if you feel you cant balance, dont try it... its just like a hardflip, when you feel you dont have enough hight, dont do it, but instead of height, its balance... but a manual is a pretty basic trick. if you're gonna bail, just put the nose/tail of the board(depending on wat kinda manual) to the ground. the worst thing that can happen is you'll fall forward and hurt yourself... no big whoop. once you get good at basic manuals, you can work on other manual tricks like the spacewalk, tricks off of manuals, or just combo tricks...

yes: put your front foot right behind the front bolts, push off with your back foot and set it down on the edge of the tail, so that it's about 2 thirds on, 1 third off. keeping your body level and parralel to the ground, apply pressure to your back foot and lessen pressure on your front foot. do not let your tail scrape the ground - this is a bad habit and also a great way to fall off. it might help to pratice this trick stationary. p.s. a manual on the front of your board is a nose manual, and "frontside" refers to the direction of a spin or turn which is another long, complicated discussion (get a trick book from the library).
