Yes. You may not see it, but every time you wipe the brush on your face then back in the makeup, you are transferring germs. So replace at reasonable intervals.

yes liquid or jell makeup (ex. lipstick, lip gloss, foundations) go bad faster than powders. Keeping your makeup tools is very helpful. You can disinfect your makeup with alcohol. If your makeup starts to smell it is time to trash it.
