Yes. I had a long time friend (over 10 years) who began stealing (to my knowledge)only recently. I took her to a small business owned by my in-laws' neighbors and after we got back to my home she showed me all that she had 'lifted' from them. She also told me that she stole from her friends if they made her mad. I drove her home before breaking off our friendship (to ensure she didn't steal from me), but... lo and behold! Several small, silly items were missing from my home. Beware!
