Depends how much effort you put into it. It becomes much tougher, for sure
-
Well college is pretty fun... I'm only 21, so I don't have the much experience on you...but my answer at this time is a huge NO. I had a lot more fun in highschool than I am having these days.
-
Yes, I have never had a girlfriend in high school, now that i work (still a senior) i am dating a girl from work. So... for me High School BLOWS!
-
Better? Yes. Now you can choose the people that you surround yourself with and (generally speaking) how you'd like to spend your time. I hated high school, but college is good. Easier? No. You have to figure out what sort of people you want in your life and the best way to spend the time. In any event, have hope. The drama/pain/boredom/etc of high school will get better with time.
-
It broadens considerably, but the internal struggles remain forever: search for love and success and wealth and acceptance and power and all the other peripheral accouterments of living we associate with happiness. It's much easier if you learn to manage your appetites and control your urges and discipline your work motives. You can hang out waiting for somebody to make it better for you, or you can take charge and do it for yourself. Seize opportunities and don't lose sight of your ethical training. Then, it will get better without the conflicts and hassles of an overambitious zealot.
-
In some ways it does, but there is no doubt the the easiest time of my life was high school. There is very little pressure in high school regardless of what the psycologists and everyone want to tell you. The petty litte stresses of high school are nothing compared to having to carry the load and pay the bills and keep your family fed, etc. So enjoy high school while you have it so easy, and then get ready for the real world, unless you have parents putting you through college, then you have four more years of easy.
-
It only gets better. Just don't drop out. Do that and life will suck for a long time.
-
Yes it definitely can. I hated high school. I was shy, etc and my parents were going through a divorce. In college, I became popular and a lot more outgoing. You just have to make the effort and realize your life as an adult is very different than your life as a teenager.
-
High School was a blip. Life is definitely an adventure and it really starts once you become independent financially.
-
After High School, you should be experiencing a greater degree of independence. Up til now, you probably have been supported by your parents for the necessities of life, food, clothing, shelter, etc. You have HAD to go to school and be taught what the system wanted taught. With freedom comes decisions, and responsibility for those decisions, that can determine the future of your life. Choose wisely, seek advise from those you hold in esteem. The best of luck to you.

Life is immensely better after high school. People do really grow up. I have seen people I went to school with that were the most horrible bullies now having polite conversations with others, not mocking them or teasing them. I spoke a few times with one girl, and it was like being in a different world. She never talked to me in school unless she needed something from me, but after we got out and I saw her, she was just a normal person. I think people become more of themselves after they get out of school. I never really thought about it much even for me, but I'm a lot happier. I feel more like the person I was meant to be instead of who I was before.
-
YES!
-
It usually does.
-
Yes, it does. High school is like this crazy little bubble that seems inescapable while you're in it, but unbelievably small and silly once you're out. Just stick it out and you'll be ok. Though high school is crazy and may seem tough, I wouldn't trade the experiences I had there or the friends that I made for anything. And what's after it is worth the wait :)
-
If you have prepared and set yourself up for it, it does. But you have to stay focused and be even more determind than ever before if you want to succeed because noone is going to be holding your hand now.
-
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better
-
i'd kill myself if I had to do my teen years over. life is so awesome as an adult. you get to do ANYTHING...plus you have money and things....and if you want you dont have to go to work...you'll be fired...but your mom doesnt MAKE you go. I love being an adult...........
-
Much better. The whole high school system needs a complete overhaul. It isn't near practical enough. Too much time-wasting 'busy work'. Life after high school at least has purpose.
-
Yes, it definitely does get better. But don't let life just happen to you. Plan and work to make your life what you want it to be. School was sometimes fun, but I remember it as the toughest time in my life.
-
It gets shorter, enjoy it whilst you can :o)
-
Well ..Life is actually JUST BEGINNING ... Mortgge or rents to pay , Utilities and deposits , usually home and yard maintaince , Relationships , Car trouble when it breaks down etc .... Tell you what ; I wish I was in HS again with what I know now ....
-
Yes and No. It's better in certain ways, like having personal freedom, but it sucks in other ways, like paying bills. It all depends on how you look at it.
-
If you wait for it to get better , then NO. If you grab it by the throat and go for the gusto, YES, definitely.
-
Ya! A lot more responsibility but is more fun that way
-
So far for me... it hasn't... The real world isnt as easy as you think.
-
I fuckin hope so..
-
i think it did, yes.
-
I did not enjoy getting shoved in to a locker, beaten on, and stalked in the hallways. But I enjoyed the learning and wanted more after high school. I am happy to have graduated but miss certain things like daily meetings with friends, extra free time after school, extracurricular activites and the like. But being an adult, you have more liberties, money, but less time and physical energy for the things you used to do.
-
Yes, for the most part. All the idiots that you had to deal with, you don't have to any more. And as you have more and more contact with people who are more mature, things are just better in general. That doesn't mean it's all a bed of roses; life has it's ups and downs no matter what, but it's still better in my opinion.
-
Life can only get better after school if you make it better.
-
whats better? life is what u make it, before and after high school..1 glitch , u only get 1 chance...enjoy it or hate it... after school u will look back and wonder why u rushed it... ure gonna miss this...its a country song....
-
it depends on the person and their circumstances.
-
It did for me, big time.
-
Believe it or not, you are actually living one of the happiest times of your life now. After school comes more freedom but also more responsibility.
-
you would think it would just about have to. But, guess what, it only gets worse. sorry.
-
Yes, life gets better, but more complex. High school stereotypes people into groups. Sometimes you fit, sometimes you don't. After high schools there are alot more options and opportunities. The problem arises in having to make money to pay for things. But, you get to choose your own path.
-
it does if you can manage to stay at home and work, or go to school. if your parents are sending you to college. college could be the first step to having a better life.
-
yes and no. some things are better. some are worse. but over all im glad as hell im out of high school and wouldnt go back if given the chance
-
Life can get better and better! It's all what you make it!
-
For me it got SO much better that it's not even funny!
-
That depends on if you were a slacker or not in high school.
-
yes, if you make changes to insure it gets better. no, if you just kind of give up.
-
It should If not then you're doing something wrong
-
I would say life only gets better after high school and also after you have moved out on your own. That's when you really have freedom to make your life what you want it to be.
-
Treasure the days you have at this time. You will look apoun them fondly.Take lots of pictures. When you are mulling around in your head where the time went ,you will find yourself thinking back to high school.
-
Usually it does for most people as they set out to face the world as adults.
