I don't think it has anything to do with where you were born, but who you watched and rooted for as you grew up. I was born in Maine, moved to Washington DC at 2, then to Dallas at 5. I am a Dallas Cowboy lifer. My parents were Redskins fans when we lived there. I remember having a Redskins outfit with a John Riggins jersey. My mom had us wearing them in Dallas ... at the time when the rivalry was at it's highest. She got so many go to hell looks that we never wore those again, lol. But all I remember watching as a kid was the Cowboys and they are my team forever.

I was born in New York, moved to Detroit when I was 9 and moved back to N.Y. when I was 13. I've never rooted for New York or Detroit's football teams. I've been a 49er fan ever since 1981. The first football game I ever watched was the NFC Championship game between the Niners and the Cowboys. My step-father was a Cowboy fan so watching the Niners come from behind and Montana work his magic in the 4th quarter to beat them was exciting. I've been a fan ever since and always will be.

I was born in Baltimore and was an avid Baltimore Colts fan. When John Elway refused to sign with the Colts (threatening to play baseball for the NY Yankees, who had drafted him for that sport), I started rooting against Denver. When the Colts moved to Indianapolis, I could not bring myself to root for or against them, so I adopted the Dallas Cowboys, but as my whipping bag. I would root against whoever played Dallas or Denver. My feud with Dallas is that I never voted for them to be America's Team, so HOW DARE they make that assumption. When the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore in 1996 and became the Ravens, I became a Raven fan. When Elway retired, I stopped rooting against Denver. I still root against Dallas, though. While all of this was going on, I was living in New Jersey and Delaware, but I never adopted the Jets, Giants, or Eagles (except when they played Dallas!)
