Are you a homeless woman stealing milk for her baby? I might not turn you in. But otherwise - I would watch you, call the store manager, describe exactly what I saw and what you looked like and continue to watch you until I noticed store security or a manager. Oh, yeah...I forgot to add that I worked in retail loss prevention for three years and I was really good at it :o)

LOL.. j/k... Honestly though... I don't know what I would do... I guess it just depends on the situation...

That would depend on how you acted when I asked for my stuff back. If you were rude, I'd turn you in with out a 2nd thought. If you were apologetic, I would give into my bleeding heart ways.

I have no faith in the justice system, having been let down too many times. My reaction would be directly proportional to what you had stolen and where. If I caught you in my home, no part of your dead body would be outside my domicile when I called the authorities. If you were homeless and trying to feed your family and had not entered my domicile, I would probably let you have whatever you had stolen, and warn you that another person would not be so kind. If you were a friend, you would be an ex friend and might get an ass kicking. If you were not any of the above, the following video sums it up nicely, however, you might just vanish if it was something serious rather than just an ass kicking (I have been screwed by the "system" a few too many times and I have an attitude):

who are you? were we friends? are you a relative? Were you hungry and just needed a bite? It depends. I have to go to court on the 16th of March because someone ripped off my laptop and my husbands gun and we have to testify in front of a jury.

For me it would depend on several factors. Mostly I think I'd deal with it on my own if possible, especially if it was a family member. Also would depend on what you stole from me & why.
