Ms. I prefer it for myself. I use Miss for everyone else, regardless of what marital status they are LOL.
-
I only use one when I must, like filling out a form and I usually use Mrs. though I always feel like my MIL when I write it. She's Mrs.____ not me! lol!
-
Miss I'm still single!
-
miss for me.
-
I am divorced, so I would use Ms.
-
I use ''Miss'' and I hold onto it dearly. Woe betide you if you call me ''Ms'' or ''Mrs''! A lot of women dislike the fact their prefix gives away their marital status, but I don't mind. Even once I'm married I think I'll use ''Miss''. It makes me feel youthful.
-
Ms. here too. It's a leftover from Victorian times, IMO, to distinguish a woman's age or marital status by her prefix .. when all men are Mr.
-
I really don't care. I don't expect strangers to know my marital status so whichever they write or say is fine with me. My friends call me "Lyn".
-
miss. i like the way it sounds!
-
I use Ms., although my kids friends still call me Mrs. (I've been divorced longer than I was married) LOL
-
What am I missing here?
-
If I have to fill it in on a form I tick Ms. - I find people sometimes take me less seriously if I use "Miss" - but I'll answer to all three and I don't get ratty about it.
-
I tend to use Miss, but I'm unsure of when Ms should be used. Any ideas? or is it up to the individual? Whatever takes their fancy?!
-
I use Ms as ive been divorced.
-
Miss, because I am not married. After I am married, I will be a Mrs.
-
I like Miss, i'm not married. It's better than Ma'am but if I were married I'd use Mrs. Not Ms
-
This is so confusing since there aren't any rules defined for this. It's always frustrated me especially when I'm addressing an envelope. I set my own rules for it though: I use Ms. for an adult unmarried woman of any age, Miss for a child or juvenile (generally up to age 18), & Mrs. for a married woman of any age. If I'm not sure of age or marital status, I just go with Ms. & keep my fingers crossed. :)
-
Miss, it sounds nicer, and I am NOT married!
