They are designed to be dipped in milk but that would depend on the personal preferences of the cookie eater. I choose to dip.

Dipping can't hurt a cookie. It changes the eating experience completely. May not be better, may not be worse, but it's a new experience.

Depends on the type of cookie. Also, coffee works just as good as milk.

Oh yes. Cookies are designed to be dunked in a sea of ice cold milk.

I don't like crumbs in my milk so I don't dip, I take a bite of cookie and then a sip of milk.
