Not necessarily, but maybe a temporary ally. No more. Many warned Roosevelt that he was crawling in the sack with the devil when we allied ourselves with Stalin's Russia in WWII. We were, of course. And when you are in that situation, only one thing can happen...because "the devil don't take it up the arse"...Indeed, he does not. Roosevelt was too old and sick to lead this nation during WWII. We won the war, but lost the peace. For such a savvy politician, he was incredibly naive about the world and how it operates. I have a fear of his kind today.
