What do you think of the penalties applied to F1's McLaren team ? Should the drivers have been penalized?

The are not appealing so they must be pleased to get away with just the fine. Apparently there were only five members of the committee that voted to remove the drivers points. The very large majority were for the drivers going unpunished.(Most of them lawyers so they must have thought they did not have a sound legal case) Personally I am not sure, I would like to see hamilton rewrite the record books but I would like it to be legally.
