  • Jesus is the eternal king. To understand, I think, you nedd to believe and accept the concept of Trinity. Father, Son and Holy spirit, though seem to be three different persons, still are one and the same. Its how God exists at present. He has been the Father, and came to earth as the son and died for us. He rose from death, went back to heaven and is also now amongst us in the form of his holy spirit. Paul, the apostle says, that he keeps praying to father on our behalf; when he comes back to earth, he will no longer do so, but will rather be the judge of this world. So, Jesus, ofcourse, is the eternal king.
  • He is the eternal King. Time after time in Scripture it reads that his kingdom is everlasting. The apparent conflict is with us not being able to understand the perfect harmony of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the Trinity. They work together.
