Why do they take money away from public schools to pay for expensive private schools? I like public schools better, they teach children no matter what their lifestyle or religion etc.

Who is taking money away from public schools (for private)??? Private schools should be purely funded by the people who pay tuition for their children to go there. As a federal employee who teaches in a public school, we don't get enough funding, let alone taking away more $$ to go to private schools! Geez! I would love to know more details about what you're referring to!
