    Well, I would have to say the USA. Statistics tell it. The USA has the most participants in different sports in world competition. It is just a matter of odds. When you participate in nearly all areas, you have the odds to be the most successful in "victories", medals, etc. And it is a big country. Both summer and winter sports are represented. The athletes come from every part of the USA, and from many ethnic backgrounds.
