  • Roller Coasters are fun. I'd like to go on the one at great adventure that goes 80 mph.
  • I love roller coasters and im from a place called Blackpool were the pleasure beach has roller coasters so i was on them from a early age,the Grand National one was my favorite.
  • I've always loved roller coasters (and now my kids do too). I've never considered them as taking a risk...just a blast!
  • I have always wanted to ride rollercoasters, but after a frightening experience on an old wooden coaster (Swampfox in Myrtle Beach) when I was young, I was terrified to ride again. At the age of 21 I finally got the nerve to get on another one but by the time they strapped me in, I was crying hysterically to be let off! They let me off but I was so embarrassed! After that I finally decided that I was being ridiculous. I told myself that I had never heard of people actually dying on roller coasters and that riding in the car to get to the park was way more dangerous. It was really that simple--after talking myself into it, I got on a coaster and now I will get on just about any one in a reputable theme park. As long as I am strapped in tightly I'm in heaven! I'll go upside down, with feet hanging in the air, standing up, etc. I do avoid wooden ones though because they beat the crap out of me. I always end up bruised and sore.
  • I'm terrified of them too, some tips I got that helped were... 1) keep going, start on lighter coasters and work your way up 2) Hold your breath and tighten your stomach muscles before a drop as it decreases the butterflies 3) 1/250 million people will die on a roller coaster, and it was most likely because they failed to follow safety measures hope that helps! :)
  • i am scared silly of them! then i rode this wooden roller coaster in kentucky called the kentuck rumbler. its not much but it was my first, i called my bf crying my eyes out scared (needed positive reinforcement) then my best friend held my hand, i cried the whole way up, cried waiting in line, cried when i sat down. The coaster lifted, then when it got to the peek right before the drop i decided i didnt want to do it and actually tried to get out of it!!! my friend stopped me and once we dropped i was screaming too much to even think about crying. i got off screaming OMG OMG I DID IT! called my bf to tell him to good news, then rode it three more times, laughing the whole time instead of crying. it was a truly amazing day.
  • I've never feared them, always enjoyed the ride :-)
  • I am a natural born risk taker that has never been on a roller coaster. :)
  • it's not the roller coaster I am scared of. It's the round and round and round (and puking the entire time) and the "damn, that sure is a LONG way up there".. I am deathly afraid of heights. I am a risk taker but I will keep my feet on the ground.
  • Ive always loved rollercoasters.
  • I used to be scared but I was young and tried one that looked tame when I was on vacation with my family. I'll ride ANYTHING now!
  • i was born a natural risk taker! i'll go on any ride u want me too! :)
  • When I was little I was scared of roller coasters and my parents and I went to Kennywood in Pittsburgh, PA. My dad and I went on the Racers and as we reached the top of the hill he told me to look around at all the trees and scenery in the park. Then we went down the first drop and I held my breath to decrease the nervousness in my stomach and after the ride was done I loved most rollercoasters ever since!
  • I never did. Won't go on anymore. Tho Space Mountain is a pretty smooth ride.
  • I'm a risk taker, but when I saw the Tennesse Tornado for the firts time, I was about ready to run when I saw the 3 loops. Still My dad and brother where going too so I though what the hay and went with them. The exhiliration I felt was awesome and I've liked roller coasters ever since.
