For the married folk: did you get married earlier or later than you thought you would?

the first time yes, the second time was later than I thought I would.

I didn't think I'd ever get married so that would be "early", yes, too early

The first time was way to early to know what I was getting myself into. I think around 24 if the perfect age to start thinking about it and 26 to do it.

Really, earlier probably. I was 23 when I got married, and I really expected it to be more late 20s to early 30s, as both my parents were, and both sides of my family have a trend towards. My parents were quite horrified and insisted I was far too young to marry.

Very early. I got married when I was 17. (It wasn't a shotgun wedding)

I've been married twice. The first one I should have waited a lot longer, we were way too young and immature for a life long commitment. I was only 21! I do have to say we produced a beautiful child though! My current marriage is pretty close to perfect! We were high school sweethearts ,we hadn't seen each other in 27 yrs!

The first time i was 19 and that was far to earley and i should of waited,the second when i was 28 that for me was about right.
