Makes for a great locale for Stargate Atlantis. Possilby located somewhere in the archipeligo somewhere after a volcanic eruption.

It is yet another Delgue story and is based on the real event: The massive flood of Noahs time (about 3500-4000 BC).

There are parts in the myth that could be true. It is not unlikely that there ever existed an island named Atlantis that got hit by a tsunami and was washed away. To me it is the same with the bible. I believe a guy named Jesus ever lived and he might have been a healer, that is not unlikely because nowadays we also have people who can use their inner power to lift someonelses pain. It is not weird at all, but to me it is obvious things are blown up. The entire city of Atlantis was gold and Jesus walked on water. We do not know, we cannot know so therefore we believe. I however only believe in what my mind tells me to believe. I believe all stories have some part in it that is real, but because all the years that have passed I surely cannot make out which part is real and which is not.

I believe that Atlantis is some sort of headquarters for other beings when they visit our planet. This planet that we live on called Earth is a planet where our creators pretty much have fun with. So whatever we believe that exists or existed actually did or does exist. There were unicorns, fairies, dragons, Atlantis, leprechauns, bigfoots, lochness monsters, etc. etc.

I'm certainly willing to buy that some ancient city was swallowed by the ocean and that we haven't found it, however, I highly doubt that this city had flying horse carriages and dudes with lightsabers. I mean anyways, if it was such badass technology, surely they could have saved themselves from a mere oceanic flood.
