Yup. My family went to visit all the historical sights during the summer of '75 (the touristy bicentennial stuff was already set up then). We went to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington DC. I especially remember the Freedom walk in Boston -- great fun for a kid who really liked American History.

I remember it well...it was 2 days after my 16th birthday, and I lived in NYC - then and now - and I watched the tall ships parade from Castle Clinton in Battery Park, lower Manhattan...
