  • This has been controversial. Recently the catholic church decided the nonexistence of hell and it seems that heaven it is a concept of joining the divinity, i.e to be one with Him.Don´t forget also that repentance is the key of going to heaven if you have been a sinner. However I would recommend Conversations with God by Walsch. It says that since God love us deeply no one is going to hell including the pope.
  • I feel like it is what is in our hearts and souls that determines if we go to heaven , for all human beings Hello justme + 5
  • I believe it goes something like this: Everybody is equally a sinner, whether you're a pope, or an ordinary less holy person. All you have to do is "repent", so everybody has an equal chance of getting into heaven, so long as they have repented.
  • The Pope is in the eyes of the Church as much a sinner as the rest of us. The prayers for his soul are on a larger scale because he is representing St Peter on earth and is the leader of the worlds largest Christian Church. We all have an equal chance of getting into heaven if we repent our sins, that does not always mean in the religious way with loads of fanfare.
