Why are there so many shows, showing men how to pick up women but they never have shows showing women how to get the guy?

For real and there are just more shows for men in general! I've really been noticing that a lot lately! Like one day there were these commercials to text something to this number to get wallpapers for you phone but they were all of girls! You never see them for girls! LOL Not that I am a pervert or anything but hey some women like stuff like that too!

because there is a lot of pressure on men to initiate relationships, to be the first to kiss and approach. i don't really agree with that but its what i perceive.

Ummm maybe because women hold a lot more power over men than most will realize. It's a hurdle that most guys have to overcome. How should women get the guy? Say "hi" to them. Be nice. It's pretty simple. :)

I remember the feelings of jealousy I had about the advantage the ladies have over us males in this arena, when a male friend and I were discussing how frustrating it was to get to know nice ladies. "It's like this' said my friend 'You or I could sit at this bar untill doomsday and the chances of a decent woman coming over and initiating contact is about zero - but any even halfway presentable lady sitting here on her own would have a man attempting to get to know her within half an hour' It really is true isn't it : )

Have you ever noticed that all the womens magazines are about how to please a man in bed. All the mens mags are about how to get your woman to please you in bed. Same theory!!!! Answer...because his needs are considered more important than hers.

Maybe because 'picking up women' is viewed as more important to MEN than it is for women to pick up men. Probably has to do with the difference between what most MEN would pick up a woman for as opposed to what most WOMEN would pick up a man for. Not saying there aren't women who pick up men for the same reasons, but they tend to look for different things overall. Kind of like how men view sex and sexual performance so differently than women. Men tend to be MUCH more ego-centric about sexuality. As an example, take a look at how many products and programs there are out there for 'penis enlargement', even though they are all bogus. You NEVER see anything on the market for a 'vagina shrinker'. Or how many products there are out there to enable a man to seduce countless beautiful women by making them helpless to resist.
