Where would I need to go to make a suggestion for a new category to be added here at AB?

You could click on Feedback at the bottom of the page and make your suggestion there or send an email to admin(at)answerbag.com.

On each 'front page' of every category or subcategory, there is a link for you to click on that use can use to make a suggestion if it should be in that place. For instance, if you wanted a kidnapping category, you'd click on Legal, then Criminal and there you would see the link to add category. Fill in the box and it goes right to them.

At the top of each category, there is a list of the subcategories within it. At the bottom left of this list is a small gray link "Suggest a category". This will suggest a subcategory within the current one. There's no room for much of an "explanation" there, so give the category name, and after a separator (like a dash), a VERY short description, or example list, if you feel you must. If you feel you need to explain better, go to the category into which you believe your new one should go, scroll to the bottom of the page, click FEEDBACK, and in the comments section, state your case. I'd suggest you start with a "CATEGORY SUGGESTION" title if you use this method.
