YES!!!! as soon as I can fit them again
-
Would I? I do all the time! I got duds I wore in my early twenties (and I am definitely over thirty). I suspect it is more common for guys.
-
I have several things I've had for longer than that. I tend to choose mostly simple things that don't go out of styler... T-shirts, tank tops, simple jeans, bermuda shorts... I buy a few of the more trendy things each year, but almost never buy something I'll only wear once or twice. It has to be a very special occasion for that.
-
Yes, I've got a few things that are that old and still in great condition, I really like them so just keep on wearing them x
-
Yes if i love them they stay in the wardrobe.
-
Most of my clothes are older than that. The oldest item that I wear regularly is a t-shirt style top that is at least 15 years old; it's from Northern Reflections and is just now starting to show signs of wear. If you buy good quality clothes, they last a good long while.
-
i hate clothes shopping, so unless i grow out of them, or they get too waered down, i do wear my clothes for 5 year. i have sweaters that are at least two times older than that. and if i really like them, i repair them rather than throw or give them away.
-
I have plenty of clothes in good condition from 5 years ago...so yep.
-
Yup. I keep my stuff for as long as I can.
-
Yep, I don't care about style or what's the in thing, I go for comfort
-
I do now.
-
my clothes are pretty old, i am really into retro and my style hasn't really changed. i am not into shopping so i wear my clothes like they aint going out of style!
-
As long as I can still fit them!
-
If I could still fit them why the heck not?
-
Yeah i would. I see nothing wrong with that
-
i still wear clothes from over 5 yrs ago
-
I have some clothes from more than ten years ago and my only suit is at least 15 years old.
-
If it was clean and didn't smell bad yeah for sure.
-
I only wish that I could fit into the clothes that I had 5 years ago.
-
yes, and "BOY do THEY NEED WASHED ".. he he he No, they really don t fit "" MUST have SHRUNK "" ha
-
Sure! In fact... I often look longingly at my wardrobe, wishing a certain item was still there. I have a tendency to wear my clothes until they're falling apart... and I have considered funeral services for several of my favourite pieces.
-
I have clothes that I still wear from 8-10 years ago. But they're jeans and tee's-they never go out of style.
-
Yes.
-
Absolutely. They are just getting broken in.
-
I still have a few pieces of clothing that I still wear... but 5 years ago, I didn't have a chest... so some of them fit a little differently now... but they don't look bad!
-
Yeah, in fact the top I've got on now is about 8 or 9 years old.
-
Yep not a problems well if I can still fit in them. I never went with trends so all my cloths never went out of style.. haha they never were in style just plane t-shirts and jeans. solid color dress shirts. My mom use to tell me I dress like an old man. Hahaha I guess that can be good or bad depending on how you view it.
-
sure! I keep the good stuff and wear it til it falls apart!
-
lol i still wear the clothes i had from five years ago, so yeah i guess i would.
-
Would I? Most of my clothes are older than that.
-
I would apart from the fact that I have put on a lot of weight and am bigger than I was 5 years ago so I haven't kept any of my clothes from then.
-
Yep, I do. My dress sense hasn't changed, nor has my size. I just basically wear jeans and tops and things, so it's not like my clothes are "soo last spring". I become very attached to my jeans and really begrudge throwing them away even when they're completely knackered. Same with my footwear, I'm seriously considering having a small funeral for a pair of trainers that I have to get rid of, they have served me well.
-
Yes, I have some clothes that old that still are in good condition and not out of style.
-
Absolutely. my style is my own and doesn't change with the direction of trends. And if you are careful what you buy, many things stay in fashion for a very long time. Plus some things are just either timeless or too casual and plain so why change? I have dresses, tops, skirts, pants, everything over 5 years, with a few new pieces occasionally. Things that I make and spend a great deal of time fitting and sewing are not going to go out of my closet just because time passes.
-
Yep ! Jeans are softer than silk at that age, and priceless as far as I'm concerned.
-
I do now. I am a jeans & t-shirt gal & that NEVER goes out of style. I still have my Buccaneers t-shirts from when they won the SuperBowl in 2002 & wear then often. I have a dress in my closet that my mom bought for me to wear at my son's baptism in 1993. I still wear it occasionally because I can't bear to throw it out. She passed away in 1997 & it's still pretty stylish.
-
Not only would I, but I do. I prefer classic styled clothes - tweed blazers and linen slacks, cashmere sweaters, good leather shoes. Once I get a nice piece 'broken in', I have a hard time parting with it. Most of what I buy doesn't go out of style and I resist trendy things. If I pay $100. for a good wool blazer, I want it to last for many years. Some of the clothes in my closet have been in use for ten or more years.
-
Not often. I like to save my new clothes for best.
-
If I could fit into them maybe...jajaja, but I doubt it, back then it was big bell bottom jeans, now I have nothing but skinny fit.
-
I don't think I have any clothes from 5 years ago... So I guess the answer is no!!
-
You mean I should go out and buy new ones? Still wearing me old faithfuls.
-
No I wouldn't despite my advanced age I do still make an effort to keep up with the latest trends :o)
-
Sure, I still wear a shirt that I had when I was, like, six or seven.
-
No because im growing and only fit me for like a month
-
I have clothes that are 5 years old and I still wear them. There are some pieces that don't go out of style and as long as they don't look too worn, I still wear them. Particulary sweaters and my clothes for work.
-
Um, let's see. 5 years ago, I was 12 and in 6th grade. (I think?) In six grade, I wore kids sized clothes still. Which means kid-fashion. Which means, no, definitely not.
-
If they still fit I would wear them. I probably have some stuff that I had five years ago.
-
umm...does this question imply that we're not supposed to? I still have clothes that fit me from middle school :o{ oops.
-
some old tshirts maybe
-
I should have bought new ones? Why does no one ever tell me these things?!?!?!
-
If you mean in style then I might. I don't think they would fit though.
-
Alas, if they fit I'd be happy to wear them.
-
Maybe. What I would love to have is the wardrobe my older sister had back when I was in high school.
-
I still have some clothes from 5 years ago... but they're now either rags or pj's.
-
Ahh if only I fit in the same clothes I wore 5 years ago.So yes is my answer
-
I do wear the same clothes I wore five years ago (minus pants). Im still the same shirt size, just not waist.
-
I still do and nobody can tell!!!!!!!!
-
I wear nothing else most of the time!
-
I do..... I have bought some clothes since then.... but the bulk of my wardrobe is over 5 years old.
-
t shirts/jeans/shorts --yes
-
i got some, very very nice
-
i am sort of person who trow his clothes vn they r unable to wear anymore
-
wearing it right now. apparently I do not grow. Or my fashion sense doesn't. or both.
-
Maybe when i grow old..
-
Sure why not.
-
The shirt that I am wearing is nine years old and in very good shape. I do not wear it too often.
-
My husband still wears the same clothes he wore when we first got married 14 years ago. I keep the clothes I used to wear 10 years ago as a goal to be that small again. Probably by the time they fit they won't be in style anymore.
-
yes i would almost everything comes back in style
-
yeah if i still like them :)
-
I wear clothes I like until they are no longer wearable..I'm not a "fashionista" by any one's standards..I am currently wearing bluejeans I bought, oh, maybe, 10 years ago! I got a really good deal.."buy one get one free" so I bought a bunch..my weight has remained pretty much the same for a long time, so they still fit perfectly! :)
-
Why not? SOmetimes, I long for my old t shirts that were so awesome. Not fair that my mom thought they were too old.
-
If they fit I probably would wear some of them. Since 5 years ago I've lost 100 pounds so there is no way they would fit!
-
I never change anything, unless its my hats. Every once in a while, I find a different shirt hanging in the closet, or a pair of genes in the stack,... that my wife found at a thrift shop, or the salvation army store, and even yard sales. Oh,... excuse me,... I did in fact get a new shirt for Christmas.
-
no, 5 years ago i had this cute denim vest jumper shorts and it looked sexy-cool on me, now i tried it on today and it looks frumpy since i gained alittle. took it to salvation army. sigh :(
-
maybe a couple things but not really lol
-
I do that but I have new clothes too :)
-
Yes, I can fit into them still so why not? I don't buy much in terms of trendy clothes. I lean toward classic styles and well tailored pieces.
-
Sure Jeans always work for me.
-
If I could fit into them I would be wearing them right now!
-
If I could still fit in them I would love to wear them, but that was 2 kids and 2 c-sections ago. I did just join a gym though so hopefully I will soon fit them again
-
I've always kept clothes that are still good, my mother in law has started getting stuff out that she had in the 70's (thats like 30 years) she says she regrets not keeping more back, now that the fashions are coming back around and it always turns full circle eventually. I think a kind of vintage look is querky (with the exception of leg warmers and shell suits which are just WRONG!).
-
If they fit:D and not totally out of fashion:)
-
I got a few things that are that old and still in great condition,I like them so just keep wear them sometimes...
-
Nope. :)
-
I have and still do. I'm not fashion conscious at all. If it fits and has no holes I keep it.
-
If they still fit me, yes
-
I wear really old t-shirts around the house and when working outside, often more than 10 years old. I have shirts that are really old, maybe not worn much over the year, the type that got forgotten about in the closet. I think with women they are more fashion concious than men in that respect. Since much of my closet is golf type shirts for work, the styles don't really change a lot.
-
Yes and frequently do.
-
yes...i wear a t-shirt that i have at least 8 years
-
Yes, I have alot of clothes that old.
-
some probably; i've a good turnover
-
We'll I've always wore blue jeans. And as long as I can still fit into them. I'll wear them. I think the ones I am in right now are around 4 or 5 years old.
-
I recently lost the rest of my weight after having 2 children. I got all my clothes out that I haven't worn in 5 years and tried them on. Of course they are jeans and dresses and shirts that have not gone out of style. It was like getting a whole closet full of cute clothes in one day :)
-
That would be weird. Wearing clothes from when I was 10 or 11? That would be a tight fit...
-
all the time!
-
i do on a regular basis... man i really need a new wardrobe
-
No... I wouldn't fit :/
-
Not 5 years old cloths, but 2 up to 3 years is alright
-
All the time. There's stuff I curse myself for giving to charity/my little sister - some of it I thought would never come back into style, yet curiously enough it has. Now I just need a much bigger wardrobe/storage space for my paranoid hording.
-
Totally. As long as you mix it up. Something from 60 years ago could look as good as new with a belt and some cute accessorys!
