There are two or three people that I have met on AB who I consider members of my family. My life honestly would not be as rich or as fulfilling without them. Then I have quite a few friends whom I love dearly and who's company I always enjoy. It is a pleasure seeing them, but I am usually not in constant, regular contact with them. Everyone outside of that I consider friends, but not people I know very well, as yet.

It's hard to say for sure because it seems to change all the time..some whom I considered to be "close" are no longer around, at least around me..others who pop into my life almost on a daily basis have a lot of potential to be "close"..I'd have a real tough time giving you an exact number..but it's easily in the low double-digits...:)

Hey, I can finally answer this question! For a long time, I couldn't... the list was too long, or kept changing all the time, or I was concerned about leaving someone out and offending them. But that changed a lot over the last few months, where I saw that my AB experience would be best served by getting clear about who I was really, seriously going to focus my effort and attention on. It's not that there aren't other wonderful people whom I like, but if I try to be friends with everybody, I end up not being a very good friend to anybody. So here's the list, clear and simple! Carmella, Retroglide, Momma Bear, LynfromNM, and PrettyPirate. That's 5. I follow them around like a puppy. And if you wanna piss me off, just mess with these folks! :)

I think I have many friends here, thankfully. Really close, just 2.

i would say about 2 or 3, but that number may be higher, for i have a lot of friends.

well, i would say all the people on my friends list. i mean, i haven't looked at that list in awhile, but if i added somebody it was because i considered them a friend at some point in time.

Dont know about "close friend" Maybe 1-2 but I have a few good friends and then others that are friends and then friends I have not met yet. :-D

I have three really close friends, I talk to them daily. I don't think I can get along without them. I also have a few friends that I don't talk to directly, but that mean the world to me. I value their friendship and consider them more than just online buddies. I will keep in touch with them even if I never go online again. Then I have friends that are good friends, but we really only have AB in common, and I think those friendships would fade if one or both of us left AB.

Only one. My boyfriend. I introduced him to AB, but he's never posted. I have another friend on here that I introduced to AB and we know a lot about each other. We're not as close as we used to be, though. I know both of these people in real life. :) I don't consider anyone I met on here a close friend. That may sound harsh, but it's true. I just don't know you guys. I'm sure it's pretty mutual, though.

I've gotten pretty close with quite a few of those on my friend's list. Several are people I knew from before AB. We email quite regularly. They know who they are!
